Terms & Conditions
Anyone using the Travel Hand service will agree to indemnify its employers and all employees from any liability after they accept the final Travel Hand Trip Report. Acceptance of these conditions is confirmed when the final report is signed.
Should there be any delays, cancellations, natural disasters, wars or health related problems which may affect my trip after a customer have accepted the final report, Travel Hand will be indemnified from any responsibility or liability.
Any Travel Hand customer hereby indemnifies Travel Hand in respect of any liability for any injury or death, damage to or loss of property of other loss of whatever nature, including any reasonably foreseeable loss of trade and any claim made by any third party against Travel Hand including any legal costs arising directly or indirectly out of or caused during the trip, whether due to the act, neglect or default of Travel Hand, its employees, agents or carriers.
Travel Hand shall not be liable for any consequential or indirect loss (including loss of profits, business revenue, goodwill, expectation or anticipated income or savings) incurred by anyone travelling on a Travel Hand arranged trip, directly or indirectly as a result of any breach of these Terms by Travel Hand or of the operation of any of the provisions of these Terms. Nothing in this agreement shall exclude or limit either party’s liability for fraud or for death or personal injury.
No waiver by Travel Hand of any breach of these Terms by the customer will be considered as a waiver of any subsequent breach of the same or any other provision and no other action by Travel Hand in respect of a breach will be deemed to bind Travel Hand to take the same action in respect of future breaches.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by any judicial or other competent authority, all other provisions of these Terms will remain in full force and effect and will not in any way be impaired. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable but would be valid or enforceable if some part of the provision were deleted, the provision in question will apply with the minimum modifications necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
Neither party shall be liable to the other for any default under these Terms caused by war, fire, flood, riot, drought, governmental action or act of God (“Force Majeure Event”) provided that I immediately inform Travel Hand of the existence of any Force Majeure Event and Travel Hand is entitled to cancel the Order (or any part of it) without liability and without prejudice to its other rights and obligations where the Force Majeure Event subsists for a period of 10 days or more. Travel Hand reserves the right to defer the date of delivery or to cancel the order or the scope of the Services ordered if it suffers a Force Majeure Event.
These Terms are governed by and are to be construed in accordance with English law. The parties irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute which may arise out of or in connection with any agreement under these Terms.
Travel Hand Guarantees – terms and conditions
Travel Hand guarantees that we will find the lowest prices on the open market. Our price guarantee and offer to refund your service fee should you find a cheaper alternative is only valid provided the cheaper alternative is brought to the attention of Travel Hand within 48 hours of the report being received by the customer.
Until the report is signed and accepted, the guarantee does not apply.
Any cheaper alternatives sent to Travel Hand must have come from the open market. The definition of ‘open market’ is any standard available method of obtaining tickets, fares or rates etc. For example, if a customer uses personal contacts within the travel industry to obtain cheaper tickets, fares or rates etc, then the guarantee is void.
